Inclusive Wellness. 

My name is Kelley Mercado and I am a Wellness & Personal Development Instructor. For years, I was a facilitator in the personal & professional development industry. It wasn't until my youngest was diagnosed with Autism that my whole world turned upside down. The feelings of extreme stress and hopelessness took me to a place where I needed to rebuild and redefine the concept of personal development. Mental health and wellness soon became my top priorities. I want to make wellness available to everyone. Not only to children with Autism, but also to the parents and educators who may find themselves overwhelmed with stress due to challenges that sometimes come along with supporting a child with Special Needs. Too often, I encounter individuals who put their own needs on the back burner while caring for others. It's important to advocate for others but it's equally important show up for yourself as well. With that in mind, Wellness is a journey that looks and feels different for everyone. It's an ever-evolving idea, and every individual can craft their own definition of what it means to them. It's time to lose the labels and expectations of it all.
